This technique should be used when breaking PDFs down for conversion purposes. It’s a streamlined technique that will save quite a bit of time.
- First make a copy to work on.
- Then crop, as Robert said.Use your table of contents to know which pages to go to. Please note: If the front matter is separately numbered in the PDF file, extract it first.
- Then start at the back of the book.
- Go to the first page of the last chapter.
- Go to Tools > Pages > Extract.
- The “from field” will always enter the page that you are on. In the “to field,” you can enter the page after the “of x” (because the x is the last page of the book).
- Delete the pages after extraction.
